The West Africa CivicTech Conference is an initiative to bring together innovators, civic technology practitioners, policymakers, and other stakeholders from across the region. Our goal is to explore how technology can strengthen democratic processes, promote transparency, and empower citizens to actively participate in governance.

The Hack4Democracy initiative brings together top civic-tech innovators, activists, and organizations across West Africa to create solutions that promote democratic participation, human rights, and good governance. Over the course of the hackathon, participants will work collaboratively to design prototypes and tools that help citizens engage with democratic processes and hold governments accountable.
